I have passion for design and the mind so most of my pieces are strongly influenced by those interests and by my architectural formal education and experience. Jewellery for me is not just a craft or a decoration; I see jewellery as a form of art when created with a meaningful and specific intention. My work represents my idea of beauty and my view of the world; it also carries a strong emotional or psychological meaning in some cases, and in others, delivers an intellectual or a cultural statement.
I work with composition and form, exploring the use of colour, texture and the contrast between tradition and modernity.
As a designer and manufacturer, my jewellery is part of an endless exploration of beauty, materiality and technology, and as a coach, a study of the possible connections between pieces and significance, meaning and personal development. Many of my pieces are life structures that remind us of what really matter to us.
